Ra Power

RA Power was established in 2019 by musician & solar electrician Anthony Arcuri & electrical engineer David Majetich. A lover of outdoor music events, Anthony wanted to use his experience in solar to provide solutions to the pollution caused by most outdoor festivals. In effort to help make festivals more sustainable, Anthony formulated a design for a mobile solar generator prototype. He sought the help of his electrical engineer cousin Dave, & Spring of 2019 while the world was shut down, Anthony & Dave got to work building & testing their first mobile unit using a cargo trailer, high wattage solar panels & up-cycled electric car batteries. 

After a successful first year of supplying solar power for events across Pennsylvania, they decided that event sustainability shouldn’t end with just power & waste management, but extend to the shelters as well. They adopted a 30’ wide, 14’ tall geodesic dome shelter into their arsenal, & together with their solar generator it became the “Solar Dome”.
