For the last five years DJ Eric Hood has been making a name for himself in Pittsburgh as a DJ, sound engineer, and event promoter. Building a reputation for high energy sets that strike a balance between timeless throwbacks and the latest trends, he got his start by cutting his teeth in the local electronic music and hip-hop scenes and has since grown his passion for putting on incredible shows into a full time career in weddings and private events, as well as making regular appearances at Pittsburgh hotspots such as Twelve, Local, Thunderbird Music Hall, Sienna Mercato’s Il Tetto rooftop bar, and The Goldmark.

In addition to being an instructor for the live sound program at local non-profit Tech25, Eric produces large scale events with his full service audio/visual production company Focal Point Productions, and has engineered for high-profile clientele such as Michael Phelps and Billy Porter.
