TJ’s story begins in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, where his love for music took root. At just sixteen years old, he landed his first DJ gig at a downtown venue called 205, quickly earning a residency that would set the stage for an extraordinary career. After spending time in Northern California in his early twenties, TJ returned to his beloved Pittsburgh, missing the community that shaped him. This homecoming would prove pivotal as he began expanding his DJ services into what would eventually become Harris Event Group.
