Mayan's Bat-Mitzvah
Mayan and her family celebrated with us in April of 2024. Not only were they the first clients to book an event at The Gem with us, they were also the first clients to hire Harris Event Group as their event planning and design team. We did it all from the music to the linens. This event was the start of our next chapter as well as Mayan’s.
You have never met a nicer couple than the Aronson’s. Every time we met it was like hanging out with old friends.
Their party was planned for early April in 2024 which if you know Pittsburgh means you could be sled riding or sweating. The Gem is a 3 season venue along the Allegheny River that just a week before this event flooded about 10 feet higher than it ever had in my lifetime! The rains and winds leading up to the Bat-Mitzvah had been wreaking havoc across the city but somehow through some miracle or divine intervention it all stopped long enough for us to celebrate under the stars and in style.
TJ not only created the design for the party he also curated the best selection of music, created a custom slide show, and built a 1 of a kind photo booth experience featuring a special appearance by Taylor Swift (in cardboard form). It will forever be a night that I don't think any of us will ever forget.
