A professional DJ by trade, TJ’s love for creating unforgettable experiences fueled the growth of a dynamic entertainment business. In addition to DJing, TJ spent his time learning from industry professionals and on the job experience over the last 25 years. During this time, he built professional relationships and merged companies together for one common goal:  our clients’ peace of mind.  

Committed to excellence, TJ personally trains event DJs to ensure high standards of skill, captivating MC abilities, and unwavering professionalism that became the hallmark of our service. This dedication to quality ensures that every client receives an unparalleled entertainment experience.

After many successful years, and over 400 weddings, TJ’s vision expanded. He grew his business, now called Harris Event Group, into a venue management and full-scale event production company. This evolution includes premiere event documentation, expert lighting and sound installation and engineering, and a comprehensive inventory of event rentals to bring any vision to life.

In 2023, TJ’s partner, Maya, joined the HEG team, further strengthening our family foundation. Her talents and dedication have further enhanced our ability to serve our clients with passion and precision.

And the family involvement doesn’t end there! You might see TJ’s mom, Sandi, lending her warm presence and skills, whether it’s helping to ensure an event runs smoothly or officiating a heartfelt wedding ceremony.
